What I Like To Wear.

Just like music, everyone on this planet has their own outfits to wear and a personal style. No two outfits are the exact same (at least if you aren’t copying someone else). Clothing and fashion in general are a part of everyone’s life, if you notice it or not. And what you wear is basically showing what type of person you are to other people. It can either get a positive or negative reaction from the people that look at you. It can bring on a stereotype or it can bring on uniqueness depending on the people that see what you are wearing. There are trends that you can follow or a path of being unique that you can follow.

I personally tend to go for simplicity and comfortability. By this I mean that I don’t over dress and I just stick to whatever I need to wear based on the weather and the occasion. When I am at college you will see me wearing jeans or sweatpants, Vans, and a hoodie and if I’m really bold, I wear a hat with it too. I usually wear name brand clothes for sweatshirts and t-shirts, so brands like Nike, Adidas, and Aéropostale. This of course changes according to the season (wearing a coat in the winter, wearing a t-shirt or long-sleeve in the spring/summer, and wearing a light jacket in the fall). So basically all that will change is what I wear for a top, I mostly keep the same bottoms and shoes.

(This about what I wear for an outfit almost daily, except for the watch, and the clothes being different brands than what is pictured above)

When it comes to shoes, I like to wear canvas/skate shoes, but on occasion will wear tennis shoes. Just like the brands for the sweatshirts that I wear, I wear Nike tennis shoes, Adidas tennis shoes, and Vans skate shoes. I like the look of the Vans, but I like the comfortability of a tennis shoe. I found this cool store in the mall called “Zumiez” and got both pairs of my Vans there, and a few clothes. I would recommend checking the place out if you like the style of Vans, Nike, and Adidas because they sell clothes for both men and women, along with the shoes.

I don’t really buy all that many new clothes (mostly because I can’t bring myself to spend the money for what I want). I don’t really mind dressing up, if it still looks decent on me anyway. The most I have gotten dressed up for is a full suit for my senior year prom. I am kind of a lanky guy, so you could imagine what that looked like (wasn’t good that’s for sure).

Like I said I like to be comfortable without going too crazy with the outfit that I wear. So when I am just hanging out at home or something like that, I just put on a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt and that’s that. But when I go to the gym, I usually wear sweatpants and t-shirt from fall to spring, then I wear shorts and a t-shirt from spring to fall (the gym obviously isn’t outside, but when coming from the cold into the gym, I would rather have sweatpants on). I usually sleep in shorts and a t-shirt because my room gets kind of warm and I don’t want to be soaking in sweat when I wake up.

Although I like to keep it simple, I do want to try new things when it comes to what I wear. For example, I would like to get a couple shirts that do have a more complex design than just a Nike or Adidas logo on it. I have tried what is “trendy” for guys, in the past, but I didn’t really like the style of it.
